Anne Fields Lucas

Director, NavalX Midwest Tech Bridge

Anne Fields Lucas was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana. She earned her undergraduate degree from the U.S. Military Academy (USMA) at West Point in law and environmental engineering.

During her time at USMA she played on the volleyball team and participated in track and field. She has a master’s in transportation and logistics management from American Military University as well as a project management professional (PMP) certification. Anne spent her active-duty Army time in the 82nd Airborne Division as a platoon leader, executive officer, shop officer and battalion operations officer. She later worked for the Cintas Corp. as a service manager in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Anne has worked for NAVSEA for nine years and has served in roles as a logistician and project manager within the Radar Division and as the Multi-Sensor Integration Branch manager within the Maneuver Surveillance and Engagement Division, supporting multiple Department of Defense customers on expeditionary ground-based intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) systems. She became director of the NavalX Midwest Tech Bridge in February of 2020.

Anne and her husband have two sons and live in Bloomington, where they own and operate a wedding and event venue on their historic working farm.
